EGR Performance Module D12 | 03-07 | VL100
Provides a complete and reliable solution for your Volvo D12 EGR engine. Will work on all HP engine ratings and will help you restore your fuel mileage and remove Active EGR Faults and EGR Cooler problems.
- Eliminate EGR Fault Codes
- Eliminate EGR Cooler
- Always can put back to factory
- No Footprint left behind
- No changes made to ECU
How does it work
The EGR performance module is intended to communicate with your engine ECU to give you complete bypass of EGR parameters for increased overall performance. It has 2 connections that connect into your existing EGR Valve 1 and EGR 2 connections.
The system does not need either EGR Valve 1 or EGR valve 2 to be in working condition. As soon as you install this system, it will clear any Active Faults relating to the EGR system. Comes as a piggy pack system and will not require any additional programming or tools to install this system.
This system will be undetected by any software and will still be able to perform the EGR Function Test with Volvo PTT software.

The module may or may not increase the horsepower or torque of your engine, depending on if you have active faults. Installing the system will allow your engine to run cooler and it will eliminate the soot intake into the combustion chamber. The results will enable you to run your D12 engine at peak performance without doing anything to the engine computer through programming.
Replace Boost Sensor
Why do you want to replace your boost pressure sensor at the same time as installing this kit? – The original EGR valves have been operating and allowing the soot to collect in the intake, this causes the boost pressure sensor to clog up. You can always try to clean this sensor out with mass air flow cleaner if the sensor does not break apart upon removal. The sensor is known not to throw a fault code when it is completely clogged and this affects the ability to adjust the fuel mapping in the EECU for peak performance and fuel mileage. The part number for Turbo Boost (MAP) Sensor is: 20700060
