Does this App need to be online to be used?
OTR Diagnostics is bluetooth based and does require you to have Wifi or Cellular coverage for you to be able to use the app. We do have an offline mode as a feature which does require you to have internet upon first login with the adapter connected for this to function. It is recommended to use OTR Diagnostics with internet connected to ensure properly functionality.

Meh....Not sure who's right...over priced
It works, as intended, but that's where the issues start. See, Peterbilt in my case, says anything other then PACCAR isn't correct. They say the faults being shown aren't accurate. So who's right? How do we compare fault codes? Clearing the code is OK, I guess, but when they can't be cleared and dealer gets involved then what? DEFINITELY NOT WORTH $600 that's for sure. At the end of the day, it's just a $600 tool to clear a code that disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes would do.

Depending on the model year of Paccar you have, we can reset faults that would not be clearable by a simple 30-minute battery disconnect. On the fault codes, I am not sure what they are saying unless they are suggesting that anyone but them is able to correctly pull fault codes from their trucks, which is not an accurate statement. Multiple 3rd party tools, not just ours are able to connect and read codes from Paccar engines. The big difference with ours is that we are able to perform forced regens and aftertreatment resets like DEF and EGR derate resets that the others do not outside of OEM software. If you do have any questions our technical department would be more than happy to discuss them with you in more detail. I ordered this OTR professional tool and it's great, very simple to use. It gives you the information in the palm of your hand, you can delete codes, perform force regens, and reset dpf ash accumulation on command with one click on the app. You also get live data information of your truck's engine, dpf exhaust system, and history of inactive codes with some having explanation of what it might be and possible solutions to solve the code.

Too much money . To get a check engine code number
This is useless. You get a simple code when you look up the check engine light . With little information. Then you have to search all the internet for more information. Wish this would give you pictures details of where the problem might be locate . 600 to 800 i think is too much money.
