Can I use my OTR Diagnostics subscription on multiple devices?

Yes! You are able to use your login on multiple different devices. While you can use your login on multiple devices it will only allow one active user at any given time.

Can OTR Diagnostics do parameter changes? ie, speed limiters, cruise limiters

OTR Diagnostics does not currently perform these functions, it may become an available feature in the future. For a list of current features on OTR Diagnostics you can check that out here: OTR Diagnostics

Do I need a paid subscription plan to use OTR Diagnostics?

No, OTR Diagnostics can be used without a subscription. However, operating OTR Diagnostics, without an active subscription will limit its functionality to basic trouble code reading only.
To activate any advanced features beyond that you will need an active subscription to our plan.

How do I renew my subscription?

Your subscription will be automatically renewed with the card you originally purchased the tool with.
You will get a notification three days before your renewal date that your card will be charged.

Do I have to pay for updates? How do I get updates?

With OTR Diagnostics you never have to pay extra to get updated to the latest version. Being a mobile-based app we post updates regularly and we recommend you set to auto-update or check in regularly as the app will evolve and improve often. You can do this by visiting the app store, for apple make sure to select the second one on the list as updates do not show up under sponsored listings.

What if the Google Play store will not let me download the app?

Your Google Play Store may be out of date and will need to be updated.

  1. Open the Google Play Store App
  2. Tap Settings
  3. Scroll down to Play Store Version
  4. Tap to check for an update. If there is an update option select it and allow it to update
  5. Then try downloading the OTR Diagnostics App again

If the app still will not download you may need to reset the Google Play Store. Follow the steps below.

  1. Go to your device settings
  2. Apps Tab
  3. Scroll down to Google Play Store
  4. Tap Storage
  5. Tap Clear Data
  6. Try to download the OTR Diagnostics App again

What happens if I sell or switch trucks?

With our plans switching to your new truck is no problem as long as the model is one we have coverage for. Additional hardware may be required depending on your current hardware and the make/model of the new truck, Currently only the 2014+ Volvo and 2016+ Paccar MX trucks will require additional hardware, outside of that, you can just connect your adapter to the new truck and start working right away!

Does OTR Diagnostics require internet connection?

An internet connection is required at least once every 14 days to log into the app.

Will OTR Diagnostics work on my iPad or tablet?

It may work, but we do not currently support it.

What do I need to use OTR Diagnostics?

  • An OTR Diagnostics Account
  • A Truck
  • A Compatible Smartphone
  • An OTR Adapter(and any harness needed to connect to the truck)

iOS software & device requirements

  • iOS 13 minimum
  • iPhone 6S & Greater (Does not work on iPhone 6 or older)

Android software & device requirements

  • Android 7.0 - 12.0 (The app might experience some issues if used on a device running later than this version)
